I was walking past the administrative offices of Second City last night and saw this poster up on the wall. I’m famous, y’all!
Seriously, though, I can’t endorse this scholarship enough. It literally changed my life…COMPLETELY. I stood in front of this poster for a few minutes, staring at the photos and recounting the moments of this crazy journey that Puma/The Second City helped set me out on. I don’t think the scholarship is open to non-Chicago residents like it was last year (don’t quote me on that) but I highly encourage my fellow minority friends to apply! Although the website hasn’t been updated as of this post, the verbiage says to check out thesecondcity.com/about/diversity for more info…so keep checking back.
